This is an acoustic jazz album in the style of classic American jazz from the 50s and 60s. For Ted's first years of playing music for a living, he played acoustic bass and was inspired by Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker and others. This record is entirely live recordings of Ted's compositions as well as a few jazz standards. The instrumentation is piano, bass, drums, acoustic bass and saxophone.
